i need help with a radiator switch....
3 months ago i had a shop swap out my d16z6 out of my 95 coupe and install a jdm d16a thing is that afterwards my engine began to overheat...i checked everything the thermostat is fine and the water pump...but the fans wont start at all i just need to give it a quick fix i remember my uncle hooked up one of his spare fuses directly to the radiator fans through a switch he lives in colorado i live in houston...can anybody give me some help thanx
why replace the d16z6 with the d16a just out of curiousity? have you tried to jump the fan to make sure it works? Its easy to jump, and replacing the coolant switch is easy too
well i did it for the jdm factor mostly because im in the process of sving for right hand drive conversion but also because i had a aem cold air intake but i was too lazy to put in the bypass valve and abracadbra water snuck in the engine and ruined everything but yeah i have jumped the radiator fans and they work but i just want to do a quick fix till i take it to a repair shop to get the whole cooling system checked and fixed up
