is it absolutely necessary to run one of these,are there any benefits or disadvantages

well i didnt have a valve seat and my 50 trim turbo on my b16 wont get full boost till 7000rpm. When i put the seat i had full boost at 4800rpm. Its a big difference and for $30 dollars i wouldn't be smart not to buy one.

i bought mine at titan motorsports. They shipped it to me and i had it in 2 days. Just tell them the size of your wastegate and they'll give you the right one.

it will work w/o BUT it will leak out the dump all the time, and will slow the spool a little. it is there for a reason. use it.

not to jack the thread or anything but is it possible toget a 40mm wg valve seat? after i bought my manifold wastegate combonation, i pulled the tial wastegate off to find there was no seat, been lazy trying to find one lol
