how are they gonna blind other cars if they are less than 12" from the ground? unless they are pointing up. Hid's without retrofits do blind other drivers

Haha, I really don't understand foglights despite the fact that I own all three rare sets (USDM, JDM yellow square, JDM yellow projector). I guess I don't really understand why people do SiR frontend conversions either. Hell, now that I think about it I just enjoy the look of it on our ED's/EF's. Call me a ricer, but it's my money and I do enjoy my car regardless of what others think. But then again I have used my fogs down the 1 when it's really foggy out at night (Pacific Coast ftw).

because most people who put fog lights on only put them on because they think they make their cars look so much cooler and dont know how to set them up and most of the time they are pointing too far up. even stock ones blind me.. maybe its because are cars as lower then most cars.. but theres still no point of fog lights unless its foggy out.

i liked my talon foglights.

they cast out a very wide but narrow (in the vertical axis) beam to the sides of the road. very useful for night driving and going around turns. i could see the edge of the road much better.

ppl wanting JDM foglights for the sake of JDM, well, speak for themselves.

i had a set of stock yellows on my s14, worked great when i lived in the sacramento area, then one of them got smashed and i went and bought a set of cheap walmart fogs and there brighter than my high beams, but worked great when driving in the mountains at night, thats all i ever used them for. durring the day there useless

Yeah, PCH haha. I cruise down once in a while when I'm up in Norcal. Sometimes the fog is so bad you can't even see 50 feet in front of you. I've tried the USDM fogs out there by the coast and they work alright...can't wait to see what sort of visibility I can get with the JDM projector fogs .

you sir are an idiot foglights have a very very usefull purpose...they broaden your viewing plane to make it easier to navigate in heavy fog...have u ever tried putting your brights on in fog, it reflects off of everything and makes it harder to see, but properly placed fogs that are set down low do not produce the same glare, and are able to help u see the sides of the rd, etc...thus helping u drive

and to the idiot above me wants jdm fogs cuz he likes his car to be jdm...get off the bandwagon u newb and do something original...JDM is a fad for the new age fast and the furious wannabe's

hahahaha...thank you. see guys all i put was a period and i bet this thread got more posts then it would have if i said nething. so yea...fog lights. verdict. they're coo..but theres rules to them bein coo.
1 - DONT ALWAYS HAVE THEM ON
2 - dont be huge *** rally lights,,,unless u really do race
3 - they have to be on an ef
P.S. to canadians..u can find some fog lights kits at canadian tires for 35 bucks that would be a real nice substitution for OEM...for the money neways.
