Engine revs up and down when cold
I have a 97 accord EX, 2.2L. When cold the engine starts on a fast idle, then when you drive away and then slow down again (stoplight etc) the engine will rev up and down. up to about 2000 rpm then down to 800. Then back up to 2000, etc.... it does this until the car is warmed up.
By the way this car has a manual trans, so it only does this in neutral or with the clutch in. It runs wonderfully at speed.
