Gears wont go in......
if its hard to get into gear and there is minimal a minmal amount where you can get off of the clutch and it will stall, also when you have it in gear and the car is still it shakes. Does that mean the clutch is going also?
no slipage...just really hard to get it into gear...ill check if its leaking. Just checked the pedal and its leaking a lot from the master cylinder. Its all wet.
damn i just bought a clutch kit and flywheel. So the master is the one behind the pedal. Yeah that one is leaking like crazy. I read if there is fluid in the boot in front of the engine then its the slave cylinder.

If ur car goes into gear while the car is off but won't go in when the car's on then ur clutch isn't engaging/dissengaging. If u've got a leak from ur master cylinder like u said that simply replace it, i had to do that just a month ago... It's a good idea to replace the slave cylinder too I hear, I didn't believe ppl but now my slave is starting to leak a bit.
Yeah i just had a slave cylinder go out about a month ago so i know what youre talking about. My clutch from normal to about no resistance in about the course of 2 days. And you know its bad to replace the master and not the slave,or the slave and not the master.
If the MC is really leaking bad, get that replaced first,
if problems proceed, then it's more then likely the clutch.
If you can tear the tranny yourself, then just do it when you have the free time,
and you'll know for sure if, or when you replace the MC, and the problem is still there.

Not that bad. Bleeding the hydraulic fluid takes some patience though

replacing the slave is easy...10 mins, take out to bolts, bled the line, pop it out of the trans, then pop it back in, bolt it down, fill the MC, then pump the clutch to get resistance...i might have missed somthing but thats really it
ok i just changed the MC and its not coming out all the way. When i try to put it in gear when its on it wont go. IF i start in gear it will stall. Can anyone help?

Well if you got it all bled, and it's still happening, then it's the clutch.
Like I said in my last post already ..

you replaced the master cylinder and the clutch line is bled, does you car go into gear when the engine is turned off. try this turn on your engine and try to put the tranny in gear and when the tranny doesn't go in gear, turn off the car while your foot is still on the clutch and see if it slips in just fine. if it does then you have release problem on behalf of you clutch system meaning the clutch doesn't fully disengage when you hit the clutch.
yeah car goes into gear when it is off. I tried putting it in gear and turning it on and it stays there. I can get it out if the car is off. Its really hard to get out in reverse. Im going to change the slave tomorrow or saturday. Thanks for the help everyone.
