****** 94 GSR custum turbo Vs. Port n polish.****
What is more costly and involves alot more labor and parts? which delivers more hp if say i run 6 psi and a decent port job? please help need to make up mind i want a good running car that is relitivaly fast and i deffenetly DO NOT WANT TO BLOW IT UP!!!! so please tell my what you think!!!!!
essentially a turbo setup, if using quality components, will cost more than a port and polish. however, if you were to go for a more aggressive port and polish along with camshafts and upgraded valvetrain, you will be looking at a significant amount of money as well. the common factor in each of these scenarios is tuning, as both will require an adequate and reliable tune to optimize performance. best bang for the buck is boost, as long as it is professionally tuned. another thing to consider, depending on your automotive knowledge, is the ease of ability in installing a turbo setup by yourself or with a friend, opposed to the fact that i doubt you will personally be able to port and polish your own head. also consider downtime when looking into either of the mods, port and polish more than likely will take longer than installing a turbo setup

Well that's just not true at all. I mean if he's using meguiars products to polish the head maybe, but if he uses 3M polishing compounds and really really works in that grit, man the polish he'll get on the head will be incredible. Carnuba >Turbo
