88-91 cluster
Put a screw gun with a bit into where the speedo cable goes and turn it all the way past 99999999 and you've started back at zero....don't run it too fast or it will break it
I'm not sure what bit fits as a friend did it to an extra cluster I had just lyin around

Worst advise ever! If changing mileage to match car, just remove the speedo from the cluster (4 screws), then 2 screws in the front, wrap a small wire around the base of the needle and pull up. Now you have the counter open, press firmly on what ever number you desire and turn forward, it takes like 10 seconds, literally. I can do the whole process in about 15 mins from start to finish.

You sir, do not search much I take it.
You have to match the speedo- electronic or cable, to the cluster. JDM should be electric, so you'd need to change to an electronic VSS, whatever your tranny is match an electronic VSS to it.
