I just got back my head from a really good shop in San Bernardino called BMS.




I got a valve job and they changed the valve stem seals. I got it ported and resurfaced and they clean it up. They did a really good job. I cant wait to put my engine back together.

 

Not bad, how much did they charge you?

 

it was $280, I don't know if thats a good deal or not because I haven't gotten this kind of stuff done before. I wish i had a before shot, the head looks almost brand new now

 

Yeah thats sounds about right. I had my head work done at JG engine dynamics, and I got a multi-angle valve job, all new seals, new flat faced valves, resurfaced, shrouded to fit 84mm bore, and cleaned up for $650...oh and some used itr valve springs that he included for free.

 

Looks good thats about the going price in Ohio.

Thats a fair price. I think i payed 250-300 for 5 angle job and seals and bore out one rod.
