its been around 10 degrees at night here, and everytime i go to start at these low temperatures, only my headlights turn on. it takes about a good 5 minutes sometimes for the parking and brake lights to come on. rather unsafe.

the car wont have this problem when it is warm. sometimes it takes only 10-15 seconds for all the lights to come on.

is this my headlight switch?

 

i would be 90% sure that its your headlight switch.... mine did the same thing on my 92 hatch
when i first turn the car on in the morning only me headlights come on.. and sidemarkers/rear tail lights and dash lights wont come on untill its "warmed up" so i went to the junkers and picked up a switch to see if it was the problem.. and WALA....

figures the car has almost 229k on it now, something had to go
