today i turned off my headlights and the switch turned all the way off but the parking lights stayed on (not the headlights) and the headlights will not turn back on

fuses are fine

i don't have HIDs

the parking lights are stuck on. the brights still come on if you hold them, and the turn signals still work.

can anyone help?? i do a lot of driving in the early morning and at night so this is a pretty urgent problem

likely that the light switch is bad, there is a small arm in the stalk that can break off in rare conditions, causing the lights to behave as you stated.
