250whp on stock block D?
I tried to ask this very question but obviously everyone who answered had 1 brain cell. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1914876
Is 250 whp achievable on a stock block d16z6?
OBVIOUSLY i will be doing it right..
tuneable ecu
fuel pump
injectors
fpr
y8 head
etc etc the list could go on forever. Please just answer my question in bold.

haha just read ur link to ur post. yea some ppl dont what there talking about or try to talk like they know. man u can do. thats an easy goel. im puttin down close to 200whp and i have injectors and im tuned. i could run more i just havnt gottin around to stick my 450ccs in and i need to get a wideband of my own.
I have had my greddy kit in for about 4 yrs now, at 230-250whp (15-17psi). stock rods/pistons. The only thing I recommend is arp rod and head bolts. On a very good tune, it will last. I have never thrown a rod. My original d16z6 w/ 150k miles broke a ring land due to a bad tune, but the was the only thing that I have had happen in 4 years and about 70k miles.
stock block means stock pistons and stock rods and obviously sleeves.
looks very achievable.
300 will probably be your boarder wherein rods will come in and lower comp pistons.

yes you can
just get a GOOD tune it all about the tune
There some guys running 400+hp on stock block and head with some arp's.
Also forget about the fpr get some head studs instead, also get a good clutch the stock one won't last and maybe three a inch exhaust
But yeah just get in tunned by someone who knows what they are doing, and you should be good.

Not trying to knock on nobody
I dont care if you have 450cc or 1000cc injectors or a walbro fuel pump
If you do not reprogram the ecu. those injectors and fuel pump are use less.
The ecu is still going to push stock fuel settings. If you reprogram the ecu and tell it, it needs to push 450cc or 1000cc with a walbro fuel pump, now u are making power.
then get it tune.
