I was wondering if anybody had a pic of this muffler on a 92-95 Civic. I just picked one up and contemplating if I should put it on. Didn't realize the muffler tip was so wide until I picked it up.

I posted that pic after I created this thread. And it's just the tip on an ES muffler. I want a pic of the actual muffler because as you can see in the pic, the tip sticks out way too far.

I haven't installed it yet because I don't know if I want it on or not. I'm not completely feeling the elliptical tip and wanted to see it on the car to help my decision.

Is it a cut off muffler or an axle back portion? Do you have/could you get a spare axle back for your application to weld the FG2 muffler to? If you are unsure, I would go that route so that way its not permanent and you could switch out later

It's an axle back, however, the way my exhaust is, I can't perform what you said above. I was thinking of having a flange welded to the piping so I could switch out if I wanted to.

Not quite sure I understand your current exhaust set up [or rather its lack of compatibility with other piping] but no matter, it sounds like you got a handle on things. Like I said, if you are unsure, allowing for switching back is probably the best thing...even if it costs a few extra $$$'s

Previous owner made a completely new exhaust. The flange for my axle back would not be in the same spot for the stock axle back flange. But yeah, already figured it out. Just a matter of having time to get it done.
