Evap Solenoid Help please!
Hey guys, what does this evap solenoid look like? Does it go on top of the fuel rail? How does it connect up? Is it part of the injector harness? Or does it connect seperately? I need help asap!! Thanx
What kind of car? Its black, has two outlets for hoses leading to the charcoal canister and a plug for the harness. Located on the intake manifold. Not to be confused with the IACV which has two outlets for water hoses.
it is on a 1999 Civic SiR (SI in the states) anyone have a picture of it in detail? I bought the car with some parts missing (injector harness, injectors, fuel rail, fpr) i got the harness off of an EK civic. On top of the fuel rail it appears to have 3 bolts for something to connect to? Right now to the fuel rail all i have connected is the injectors, fpr (1 fuel line, 1 vacuum line) and one line to the actual rail. What else should be attached?? Thanks for the help
That's a ****** clean engine, Jackson.

Your car will run without it, but if you dont like check engine lights like myself, you will want to get that hooked up or buy a p28 ecu and have it reprogrammed to dohc spec. I have a 00 civic with b16 and I am just using the p28 program with the evap unplugged...no codes. I am sure you can find a used one cheap, just post it up.
