i orderd a scan tool to plug in but since i put a cold air intake on my S. every once in a while it will throw a CEL light. i have checked the vaccum hoses and fitting and everything is right. wondering if i need to move the vavle that is on the back of the fac air box to a different place i put it near the vaccum box next to the cross member that the air box use to mount to. but this has happen like once a month and werid times mid day when it is still warm.. i know it has to be the vaccum or intake.. need to read the code and see.

well you need the tool regardless to clear it

 

i know how to clear the code with out the tool.. but can u jump the pins on a s2000 to pull the code like the civics

 

take it to Auto zone or any local auto store ... theyll do it for FREE

 

dont really trust pimp faced high schoolers when it comes to working on my ride. so i;ll stay clear of auto zone.
