Default Front aftermarket shocks and springs?

95 Honda Accord LX.

Just curious if its ok to put aftermarket shocks and aftermarket springs in the front and leave the rear stock for awhile? Just curious if anything might go uneven? Because my 2 subs are already giving me a 2" drop in the back, so my front looks higher.

Just go ahead and put all 4 springs on, wont take long, it took me about 3 hours with one of my friends to put on the car. All your gonna need is a spring compressor,

this is a picture of mid install, springs on the front, none on the back yet,

No, Dont use GR2s, there made to be a Replacment for stock struts, not as a performance strut, Get the AGX, there adjustable..

yea, didnt need new ones, unless your possibly looking to take it lower then the teins make it, i can fit one finger in between the tire and the fender.

GR-2's are meant to be OEM replacements, AGX are meant for lowering.

they may but I bet it'll void the warranty if you use them with lowering springs when the struts are meant for stock replacement.

Anything lower than say 1" and you should be getting aftermarket struts to handle the lower springs.

I don't want to start another topic so I'll just post here since its relative to this post. I have some H&R sport springs, but I don't know what shocks to get. I just want a smooth ride. What would you guys recommend

I am thinking of changing my suspension as well. Ride comfort supercedes lowering the car. So stock is the best bet for a fresh suspension feel I guess?

yep, SuShiBoiiii is correct...

I had a Black 95 Accord EX Sedan that was totalled a little over 3 years ago, I had Eibach Pro-Kit springs and Tokico blue struts on it. If you search around, you may find a pic or two of it in it's totalled state.

I'm also getting another Accord just don't have it yet

save yourself a trip to the parts store and get AGX's..I have Tenzo lowering springs which arent really that good but they do the job...I actually have GR 2's in the front and AGX's in the rear...I put all 4 GR 2's on at first and withing 3 days the rear ones busted but its been about a year and the front ones are holding up awesome..im quite suprised cuz i know gr2's are an OEM replacement

This is from the FAQ "a)GR2-reasonable priced aftermarket shock with OEM spec shock, ideal for oem replacement. Good combo with prokit, s-tech, H&R O.E."

I have a set of GR'2 i was going to use with the prokit drop. I will let you know how they work out. If they blow then they blow, i bought them already and they were only 200 bucks and i cant return them so oh well
