Default Audio Express Incorporated. Are they any good?

Has anybody shopped with them before?
I realize that your local Audio Express may be different than mine, but how was your experience with them? I just feel like there has to be a catch to their $1 install, like their employees aren't properly trained or they take the easy way out when they put things in, etc.

I'm planning on moving to NM. So I was visiting there and looking for a job. I stopped into two Audio Expresses just outside of Albuquerque. I looked at the sales floor, I talked to the employees, and I looked at the shop. I would not work there even if it were a pay increase. I would not advise anyone to take their car there, and if someone brought me a car that had been worked on by them, I'd be extremely skeptical of the install, even forewarning the customer that I may have to charge them additional labor.

Since you're in Las Vegas I'd recommend the Circuit City there because I heard all kinds of good things about them when I was working at CC in San Diego.

I may be a little biased since I work for their competition, but I don't think they are the best company to bring your car to. I see a lot of installs that they have done and we have to fix, the stuff I have seen has been very half-assed. I know it probably depends a lot on each situation, especially what installer did the work, and I only see the bad installs for the most part... but I would not trust my car there.

I have seen one pretty clean install, custom suede console/armrest with a ported L7 but he got charged up the ***..

Their "$1 install" is only $1 because they make up for the rest in the price of the item. At least they can get some decent stuff... better than where I work.

Hmmm now I'm back to trying to find a place for install again. Ughhhhh if you know of a good one in Vegas, let me know.
