No spark, no squirt!
90 DX Hatch 1.5L...no fire, no fuel
What i've done...all known good parts from my running Std
- replaced distributor
- replaced computer
- replaced main relay
i have 12V for fuel pump at main relay, but not at fuel pump...relay engages for ~3 seconds as advertised. I have voltage at the coil, but no fire at plugs.
after reading the helms, i saw something about a wire from the starter back to the puter. Is there a signal to tell everything it's ok to squirt and spark? Is there another relay or something I'm missing.
at my whits end with this thing.
any help is greatly appreciated,
thanks,
endup

I had the same issue (no squirt, no spark) but I also had no power to main relay. After an exhaustive search for the problem with parts being replaced left and right, it turned out to be a fried wire that provided power to the ECU and main relay. That got fixed and my car ran. The only thing now is the guy who fixed my car just spliced into the wire that supplies power to my intermittent wiper switch resulting in an engine kill switch whenever I have to use my wipers. I'm hoping to find an under dash harness to fix this mess soon.
Hope this helps some.
PS: I've also got a 90 mile one-way commute to work as well. Driving a CRX helps immensely with the rising gas prices.
