well, whats the right price?

There is the forbidden shifter and the p-spec shifter. Check the FAQ for links to threads on them and also do a search, this has been cover many times over. I wouldn't recommend an adapter but some have them and like them so...

I have a forbidden short shifter. I think I paid around $100 for it, which wasnt bad. I like it better than the obx short shifter adapter that I had.

i got an oem 92-96 prelude shifter, not much taller than the pspec or forbidden shifter. if you want to adjust the cable height its easy to fab a bracket with parts from home depot. i just left mine as is.

I'm rocking the forbidden shifter aswell and I love it, glad i chose to spend the money on it over just a bracket.
I've still got it set on the longest setting and ive got no problem with it at all, eventually ill move it to the shorter setting to try it out

from me on the forbidden shifter tho

I highly highly recommend the pspec complete kit with boot and **** and true short shifter. The whole look and feel of it is spectacular and it was worth every penny.

Forbidden for this guy. It's all personal preference between that and p-spec IMO.

I was thinking of getting a short shifter for my 1995 Accord EX. This is probably a dumb question, but I was wondering, when you buy a short shifter, does it come with a boot and ****? I don't want to get one and it not have those because I want a short shifter with a boot and **** that actually fits and looks nice. Like some of the short shifters I've seen either have no boot, have a boot that doesn't fit at all and looks like **** , or it actually fits and looks good.

I'd also like to know this but because I've got an Accord SIR shift **** and JDM ITR shift boot on there now and I don't want to lose that setup. Do either of these kits keep the factory size **** threadding?

well, since Hcivic88 confirms that the forbidden shifter does, a quick look at the PSPEC site confirms that the PSPEC shifter uses the stock Honda thread of M10x1.5 as well.
