INSIGNIA NS-C3111 Wont turn off all the way, is it supposed to?
I know the title seems weird but, it kinda is. i installed a INSIGNIA NS-C3111 inside my friends car. When i turn her car off and the key out of the ignition, the LEDs(pic shown below, the read circle and the rd line show u what lights stay on) stay on. is it supposed to be like that? everything else works 100% fine, thats the only thing that seems to be wrong. the screen shuts off also, just not those leds

any inpit is appreciated. and i know its not the wiring job that I did, i double and tripple checked it b4 i put it in the car, i always do that on all my installs. every wire is soldered and heat shrinked too so everything is secure.

If the HU has an orange wire in its wiring harness, what did you connect it to?
Yes all the lights are supposed to go out.

that wasnt wired up, it wasnt required for this head unit. i was kind of annoyed at best buy when i just asked the guy(he didnt know ANYTHING about car audio, after bein annoyed i asked him a lot of basic things that ppl should know especially when they sell and install the stuff) all he would tell me was that it was the wiring and nothing else could be wrong. i have both mecp certifications(basic installer and the MPS) so i thought i knew at least a little about how to wire crap up. true its just a test but iv installed about 100 or more cd players, thisi s the first one thats acted like this b4.
i went back over to my friends house to test the wires with my multimeter and everything checked out ok so i just reset the cd player and it worked out ok, all lights shut off now
to be honest, the cd player felt kinda crappy. also on mp3 cds, it wont go through folders, it will only go up in order...so if the cd player has 2 albums, the first album having 10 songs, the first song of the 2nd album would be song #11. but, oh well its not mine, i bought an alpine head unit

Dont expect much from a insignia radio. It will probably die in a week and you will be bringing it back to best buy exchanging it for something better just like every customer.
yea thats what i think. my friend bought it but then totaled his car so it was sitting in that car for a month, then i took it out of his car then put it in his sister's car. it looked like a piece of crap. i was not impressed with the controls on it either. alpine(what i have) is MUCH better
