i know that they are 14" but what is the width of the HX wheels? what are the best performance tires that will fit on this wheel?

stock size is 185 65 14..but you can put other sizes on the rims.

i got a pair of kuhmos in the stock size for my crx rims for like 45 bucks a tire. i've heard good things around the azenis though.

 

I have the Azenis on the R and they kick ***, but they are not all weather. If you have an extra set of rims, I'd say go with Azenis otherwise, the Kuhmos 712 might be a better choice.

 

Does anyone know around how muc the hx wheels weigh.

Im using Azenis' right now. For the money, you cant find a better tire. But they are wearing pretty rapidly and they're HORRIBLE in wet conditions. I live in Washington wear its rainy 80% of the year. So I'll probably use a tire with better wet handling and just use those for track use. I would recommend them for summer use

 

so they're not good for washington huh ? i got the 13'' Vx rims on my hybrid and im getting ready to pick up some 15'' spoon copys from speedline in tacoma......u think i should definitely hold onto my vx ones for when its not summer time? if i go with falkens

 

so there not good in the rain? they hydroplane a lot? i was planing on getting a couple, but i live up in everett. so that is bothering me now...

 

I have the 15" Falkens Azenis and I love them, they're very sticky and grip like crazy!!!

my friend currently has 205/55R14's on his HX rims and I'm surprised they fit very well going + 20 mm the size, and there is not too much tire hanging out of the lip of the rim.

i have bridgestone potenza s0-3's and there mad sticky around turns , ive heard lots of good things about the azenis and those will be my next tire

 

dunlop sp8000... falkens are trendy..

the 55 series sidewall looks a HELL of alot better than whatever that tall, ugly *** ratio is on the falkens

 

how much do the dunlop 8000's cost for 205/55R14 and have any pics of the sidewall on HX's?

 

no they only come in the 195 width for 14s.
i'm not sure on the 14" price, but i had the 195/50/15 and i think i paid around 73 apiece.
they're on the pricey side.
