Default Car dies when coming to a stoplight.

I have a 1990 DA9 and the car dies when i press the clutch in and come to a stoplight.

I have checked for vacuum leaks and couldn't find one.

I did get a CEL code 1 for O2 sensor. I replaced the O2 sensor.

Same problem.....

What else can I check?

I took the cap/rotor off the distributor earlier and everything seemed fine. What else can I check visually on the distributor? I don't have a volt meter.

This only happens when the motor is warm. When the motor is cold, or warming up I can stop at a stoplight and it'll idle at 800 or so.

I can restart the car after it dies and it'll idle just fine, but once I get up to speed and come to a stop, rpms drop fast and bog near idle and dies.

Any other input?

sounds like it may be a faulty Idle air control valve.

Why would it only stall out at 1 out of 5 stoplights? It idles fine when im not moving. Dies and sputters every once in a while.

I just did a visual inspection for leaks and tried to feel around for leaking air. What's the proper way to check for leaks?

I had a vacuum cap come off one of the nipples on the back of the IM. I plugged it up again and the idle didnt jump like it used to.

I'm gonna try taking out my main relay and resoldering the connections.

I just took a trip to lunch with my wife.

Seems like I have a fuel problem and not a ignition problem. I noticed on the freeway that the car started to bog real bad in 5th gear. Stepped on it a little bit to pass a car and I heard detonation from the motor

Can a fuel pump be defective only when the motor is warm? That's the only thing that could be wrong with my fuel system and my symptoms only come on when the motor is cold.

i dont know the answer to your question about the fuel pump but all of are problems seem to be related some how. I still feel like mines an electrical problem becuse my lights go dim and my windows struggle to roll up when the car dosent die it idels at like 100-200 rpms and sounds hardly on

fuel pump, trust me, had the same prob with dying when i would stop, or i'd be on the highway and my car would bog and die and i had to hope it would start up again on my hatch and i replaced everything else electrically like the dizzy and such and blew all that money....turns out it was fuel pump, it only died when it was below half a tank...and i had to take it to honda to get it done cuz my fuel gauge was reading wrong too, like 700 bux total but it was worth it cuz it ran better than it ever did.

well mine are like new so i dont think thats my problem. I cant belive this many integra owners have this problem though. Im just tired of spending money on what i think might fix it and it turns out it dosent becuse i know it has to be some small and stupid problem.

Did that only happen when your car was warm? My car seems to run just fine when it's cold. Only bogs and stutters when the motor is warm.

Well, I believe my car's problem might be related to the main relay.

I resoldered the connections on the main relay. No dice....

Just cleaned my IACV. Looked pretty darn clean actually....I doubt it will have an effect on the motor. I'm gonna go with fuel problem...either fuel pump or injectors.
