Default got my new motor compression tested before i bought it check out the results!

253 256 252 250

cylinder one was tested 3 times and all were mid to low 250's

how does this sound this a j-spec b18c(gsr) swap.

those numbers sound about right to me.. how much did you get the motor for? im looking for either a jspec or usdm motor very soon w/ low miles and everything included..

you can buy a tester for yourself...but yes oyu could take it to honda if you want to get ***-raped for all your money.

teh guy that owned the shop did it. he offered and of course i accepted its nothing to it, takes no time at all the hardest part is unscrewing the plugs i am not sure what it should be on a itr prob a little highr i know that the j-spec gsr runs about the same compression as the usdm itr i think correct me if i am wrong but if you get it done check for consistency make sure each cylinder is done more than once mine actually got a little higher teh second time around but never dropped below 250 i was very impressed.
