There's been several threads about this. There are several different coilover manufacturers out there including TEIN, Megan, AMR, B&G etc. There are quite a few.

By true coilovers, I mean when the struts and springs are together. The Tein, Megan, AMR, and B&G's rear suspensions are not true coilovers, only the fronts are.

If the rears become "true" coilovers, then you lose the original spring mounting points from the factory and also the geometry. Not sure I would really wanna go messing with that kind of engineering.

The page from showstoppers rico posted is for 06+ civics, but the pic is for the 02-05 EP3 civic si

I've seen other cars that have the same suspension set ups like the 06+ civics that has true coilovers avalible for it. Like a G35, buddy club sells true coilovers for their cars and doesn't mess the geometry for the car.

It does mess with the geometry, but maybe they've done their homework. I wouldn't run out and buy any megan racing "true" coilovers. Maybe from a reputable company, like buddy club or others mentioned earlier. I would still have to see shock dynos first, at least for my personal sense of well-being.

I just double checked buddy clubs site and others that sell their products. The g35 coils are still separate in the rear. Many sites show the wrong illustration for the product. The actual buddyclub coils for a g35 look like this, which includes all 3 models that BC makes for the g35/350z

Most websites will show a Generic pic for all listings and at the bottom will say something along the lines that the actual product may vary from the pics shown.
