Rolled ITR for sale (lot's of pictures)
I have a rolled ITR for sale. It is less than one year old. 17.300km
What's damaged?
- Windshield
- Passenger side small rear window
- Right A-pillar alone with the roof
- Passenger mirror is gone
- Spoiler
- Hood
- Frame is bent
What's good:
- Low mileage and all service records. Engine and transmission are in perfect condition
- Nothing except exterior and frame is damaged
- Everything is legit and the car has clean title because I didn't make a claim to my insurance.
- Optional air conditioner installed by the dealer
- Interior is in perfect condition
- Alpine security with keyless entry
Fix it or put engine, tranny, suspension and interior into Civic and you get a race car.
I hope I can get 12-13K $CDN
I'm sorry If I'm postin, in a wrong forum.

Hey man, part the car out
Motor and tranny - $8000 Canadian
Interior, seats, door panels etc - $1500 Canadian
5 lug suspension - $2500 Canadian
Cluster - $200 Canadian
wing and front lip - $500 Canadian
If I had the coin, I'd buy it and part it out.
If you are parting it out, I got first dibs on the tranny and the rear seats

Yeah, you need to part it out to get the kind of money you want to get. but parting out is a pain in the ***.
Did insurance pay you for the car, or did you never claim?

Wait, i just looked at the conversion rate, can someone confirm, it's about $7800 US dollars?
If that is the case, then I think you might be able to get close to it. Maybe more like $5000 - $6000 USD
I got about $7500 for my R and here is what it looked like:

I think ~$8,000 is more than a fair price for the engine/tranny/suspension/brakes/interior + all other nuts and bolts. I mean, he didn't say he was gonna give it away for free.
The problem is that I live in an apartment building and don't have any space to work on the car and store it. Also, I admit, I'm mechanically challenged
. Definitely, selling parts independently would give me more money, but I'm afraid to have an ITR without windows on the street. Somebody will part it for me then
Other option I'm looking into is buying a theft recovery and transferring everything into it. Since I didn't make a claim for this accident, the car has a clean title. It may be possible to get a really cheap 2001 ITR for me.

Why didn't you report it to your insurance company -- I did (AllState) and they gave me $18.5K value for it -- I bought it back from them for $4k? Dropped it in an EG and got back on track.
Sorry about your car dude, I know *exactly* how you feel!

I agree I had the same thing happen, and I think my parts were worth $US 9-10k.

Actually, I did. Still, I decided not to deal with them
. BTW, I'm with Allstate as well.
