I have a 93 civic hatch witha gsr swap when im driving it the tach will jump around and the car will bog down.. If v tec is on and and tach starts to jump the motor will bog down and vetc will jump off. Not sure whats going on.

 

sounds like VSS. check the wires, connection, etc.

 

ok this might sound dumb but what is the vss

 

vss = vehicle speed sensor?
