There are <FONT SIZE="6">ALOT</FONT> of inappropriate & "NSFW" avatars by users who frequent the Appearance and Cosmetic forum on Honda-Tech.
Use some common sense with your avatar. If you are found to have one thats inappropriate, it will be removed for you and you will lose the privilege.
There are have been too many reported inappropriate avatars lately. Respect your fellow HT'ers who browse HT in locations where it could get them in trouble.

some one told me to change mine and the same day i read that i went to go change and it was already gone..i didnt have a chance 2 take it off!

I didn't think that my last avatar was inappropriate in any way, what-so-ever. It was work safe 100% and wasn't controversial at all.
Anyway, I got no kind of warning. No pm..etc..
One day, I noticed that my avatar was gone and that I couldn't use the feature again. This was back in '04. lol.

I have noticed a lot of "innapropriate" avatars lately after mine was completely harmless and was disabled. Shouldn't there at least be a 5 day warning, like a notice to be changed within 5 days or it will be removed? I think that's fair. But whatever I got mine back and i'll never use anything other than something stupid and harmless

It was removed back in 2004..not sure of a month. I have no idea who removed it, becuase :
1.) No warning was issued
2.) I did not receive a message saying "hey man, I removed your avatar"
I don't understand why I wasn't given a warning. It was 100% work-safe. It might not have been 100% politically correct, but that depends if the person looking at it was a tight-*** or not.
