ALRIGHT I have a 92-93 ys1 big spline trans with 92-95 y21 guts in it from a SIR-II hydro trans now the gearing is great except for the fifth gear tacking 4 Grand at 70 MPH, now my question is I have the shafts with all gears etc. from a cable LS trans from a 90-93 TEG and I am trying to swap the fifth gear into my trans now will the 5th gear swap right in due to it being a cable gear onto hydro shafts I am a little confused and would I use a hydro or cable trans synchro. Thanks guys and if anyone has done anything like this before let me know what problems you ran into.
