seeking info for accord timing belt change..
have '95 b2 4 banger.
have studied change a long time, read every detailed link for past year.
anyhow, my question.
must my auto transmission be placed in neutral while loosening crank nut, and rotating crank to make all alignments for my cam, balancer, and crank timing?
or can i leave auto in park to do work? if allowed to leave auto tranny in park during work is it because of no direct lockup between engine and transmission?
thanks in advance for comments. have done this type work on my mazda turbo, however no balance belt on that engine.

Dont worry about the trans. Take your car to a shop and have them break the crank pulley bolt loose if you dont have access to air tools. Keep all your timing marks lined up and replace ALL the seals. The cam and crank seals are common to leak pretty badly. One other thing, dont overtension the t belt cuz it will whine like crazy. hth
