Default Question about Aftermarket Gauges....?

I have 52mm Autometer Mechanical Fuel press & oil press gauges, and Im curious how safe it is to run those through the firewall into the cab to put in an a-pillar? I know the oil shouldnt be a problem, but Im curious about the safety of the fuel press gauge...

Any ideas or concerns with that?

Thanks

i wouldn't run either of those inside the driver's compartment. oil may not be as dangerous but it'll be a hell of a mess if there's a leak at the gauge.

A good thig is to get a gaue with a sensor that you can put in the engine compartment and have a gauge in the a pillar!

With fuel pressure i wouldnt think about having a gauge in the cabin... Best thing to do is just put a gauge on the rail or the filter.....

My friend had a fuel pressure guage in the cabin in his blown stang. i don't know if it was a specific gauge or if it was the line, but there was some fluid in the line that was safe to be in the cabin (veggie oil ?). I don't know how it hooked up and kept the fluid seperate from the gas and still read pressure. Hope this helped some how. GL
