Default v-tec controller on automatic 95 accord ex

has anyone ever tried installing a vtec controller on an automatic before, and if so did it make a difference. i just want it for a quicker pick up. i was thinking of setting it to about 2500rpm. is this retarded or not. i have no mods on my car. this'll be the first. what other mods can i do to my accord that arent exhaust, intake, engine swap, or turbo. ill prolly do that later-the turbo.

I don't know much at all about vafc's, but if you set the engagement point to 2500 you'll be well into vtec (3k and up @70mph) on the highway. Just something to think about, I'd like to see what everyone else has to say. Wondered it myself, if a vtec controller was worth putting on an F22

Ive heard vtec controllers dont do much really, if you want something like that you need to get your ecu tuned. But than again thats just from word of mouth, no personal experience. Good luck though.

I wouldn't, you probably won't notice too much difference and it will not be good for your gas mileage. I seems to be the opinion of this board (which I happen to agree with) that your money is better spend on suspension than bolt-on engine parts for the f22.

man, why is everyone on here all about suspension for the Acoord? I really need to drive a lowered accord to feel the difference. I drive a lowered Prelude, but I dont really know how to compare the difference.

It makes quite a difference but at the end of the day it is still an accord and doens't handle that well. I think suspension is pushed a lot more because i/h/e will net you probably ~10-15whp.
