Default OEM Opt. Side Skirts/Valances??

I know Acura isnt making em' anymore, but does anyone have any idea of a company that make's a decent set? My main concern is FITMENT! I'm truely an **** bastard when it comes to that.

I would go OEM but I can't find a set, plus most people are asking 500+ with crack's in em.. Any help would rock, it's my birthday soon and I need to give a report card/wish list to my old lady.. Thanks guys!

I know what you mean about fitment and such, I just forked out $800 for the optional sides and rears. It's gonna be hard trying to find a decent replica kit. Anything that isn't oem will most likely have fitment issues, you'll just have to adjust the replicas until your happy. Try looking on ebay or in the sponsor's marketplace.

For the rear valences, it requires you to drill holes into the rear bump doesn't it ?

I'm scared of that, so its holding me back haha

I would spend the extra cash and find me a clean oem set. They will actually fit. As for drilling the holes, its very easy and straight forward. You wont have any problems as long as you follow the directions and have the tools they tell you to have.

Do the replica skirts on ebay fit over the original skirts or replace them completely?

They fit over the OEM skirts. If you look at the replica's, there aren't any screw holes underneath the skirt where it should be.

how do they fit on? 3M sticky tape? or can you put them ontop of stock skirts and screw underneath? I'm assuming the rear valance is screw on as well...?

Am I the only one that thinks the optional side skirts looked like they were tacked on and didn't flow well with the body?

Acura got better with the A-spec kit on the RSX, but I always thought the DC2 kit didn't flow very well.

But since price has skyrocketed, I should have bought a set just to resell. I remember when they were on closeout.

I bought ty1243's sideskirts. I had to do A LOT of cutting to make these fit right. I wouldn't do it again. Get oem.

I put them on then put a 2 screws into the top (in the door jam) , though the stock sideskirt. Even then the rear still stuck out. I had to get creative with some glue inorder for them to look right.

I use to have a set from Ty1243. I didn't have problems with fitment at all, well at least not major fitment problems. I only had to trim one piece from each replica sideskirt and that was it.

I have the OEM set now

I'm going back to Japan next week and if anyone is interested in a set, please let me know. I hooked Doostur with a brand new set of CW side and rear about five months ago.
