Hey whats up all! I just installed a b16 in my civic runs great!

my alternator went out on me. so I replaced it and took out the intake....I put everything I can see back together.....the coolant is leaking from right under the intake manifold...I cant see wheres its coming from... any ideas to what happened and what I did...Im going to leave it alone. I dont want to take it all back apart just to see it so if you already know what Im talking about could you help out...otherwise I ll try to get it after I get back..thanks yall...

I don't know if there is an IACV on the back of the B-series intake but that is what I usually see on the D's. There are 2 coolant hoses running to it and that is where they usually leak from in my experience

Im guessing the IACV is the piece that connects to the coolant piping in the back.....I thought that 2 but its as almost if its leaking out of the intake manifold right above that piece....

Sounds like the head gasket didn't seal up then.

Did you say you took the intake manifold off? the gasket on the intake manifold might be leaking

I Have to agree with this, its probly the gasket. Theres a coolant passage on the passenger side of the manifold/block. you need a new gasket almost every time you take it apart cause its like cardboard

Check the two hoses coming off the intake manifold and also check the bolts that hold the im might not be tight
