hi HT, i have a very wierd problem that just happened to me today, when i press the brake peddal to the floor the car dies, then i have to start it again, what is the problem?! its the first time it happens

 

For a better chance of getting replies related to your problem, try re-titling your post with something like "engine dies when brakes applied".

Anyway, I would suspect a problem with your brake booster. It operates on engine vacuum. If the seal is blown, applying the brake creates a major vacuum leak that kills the engine. Try removing the vacuum hose that feeds the booster and plug the open end. CAREFULLY take it for a test drive remembering you don't have power assist on the brakes. If the engine doesn't stall, you've found the problem.
