Frame rail "conversion" for B Series swaps
How did you get your frame rails bent for the alternator pulley? am i just gonna have to beat the hell out of my car like ive wanted to do so many times in the past but had no excuse?
I like SiR's idea much better........ive been wanting to do that the the CRX for a while...................you should have seen what happened to the Integra after my air chisel got through with it.....
I just used a shorter alternator belt. No dings, no dents, no worries except that the belt is really, really tight (tight enough that I don't use the alternator tensioner bolt, and I'm going to go through hell putting a new belt on).

I just used the EF/ED alternator and belt. Plugs up, no denting, good clearance. Plus if you have to replace it the civic alt. are a lot cheaper than the 'tegs. Only downside is the the 'teg alt is 70A and the civic is 60A. Not really a problem, just and observation.
sledgehammer ..haha, ask marked001, i think he know how to do this
haha.
wish i had known about the Civic alt. i had to replace mine anyways. The Civic belt will work though?

Yup the cvic belt works, although it has 1 less "grove". The teg crank pulley has fours rows and the civic alt. has three. Just make sure you get the belt lined up staight with the crank not off set.

I just took the dual rib pully off my d16 altenator and put it on my b16 altenator. I dont know why more people dont do this, it has 1 less rib so it's thinner.
