Default Best oil for B16A2? Best head block combination ?

- I need a suggestion for the best oil to be put into B16A2, I use to put Castrol full synthetic 10-60, I heard it's not that good ? at least not to the B16A2 maybe good for other type of engines.

- If I want to change my block and put B20Z block on my B16A2 head, what parts do I need to get or tune ?
I heard people saying things about chaning the compression ratio ?can it be changed ?

castrol and all of those autozone oils are all generic oils in my opinion great for the DD but for a serious application i would NEVER use

in the past i have tried redline and royal purple BUT then i saw the light and gave torco a try the SR5 to be accurate and OMG that thing is like day and night!

i would never put anything in my car other then torco products all the way

and stick to what the engine calls for like in my case and yours is 5w30 oil

as for your b20 that subject has been covered a million times over on this forum plenty of info on that subject ok!

I use Valvoline but I might try that toroco, where can it be found????

As for the block/head combination it depends on where you want to go with your build. If all motor the B20 has great torque but not good for turbo. If you might think of going turbo later on,the B18A1 which would be a Ls/Vtec combination is a nice combo and then add a turbo and even better. You can also use a GSR block and slap on your B16 head and you have a poor mans type R!!!
