Removing AC 98 civic

Default Removing AC 98 civic

When you remove the AC will your car start throwing codes cuz there's a bunch of sensors plugged into the ac . Also do you jsut cut the belt that drives the compressor to get it off

No to remove the ac belt you have to loosen a 14mm bolt thats right next to the lil tensioner pulley. Then loosen the 12mm nut right next to it till it lose enough to get the belt off.

not sure about the codes

i'M READIing you can cut the belt off. I need to know about all those sensors. Theres like 3 that were hooked onto the fan and one that was hooked into the freon container.

Well you could cut it but to do it right thats how.

Just pull the plugs and try it i dont think it will though....

why would u throw codes?
Do u thnk the a/c is controlled by the ECU in any way?

Just tape em up or whatever and forget about em.
