ITR engine tech questions. Rocker arms, valve, rings.
Hello.
I've got an Integra R.
When i get off the throttle or when i load not more than half-load at around 3000rpm, I hear a sound that i would compare with a sewing machine or something like that. It's like the sound of a fan at high rpm if you put a piece of paper in it. Sounds like it is located to the head, but might also be in the lower part of the engine.
Is this the "honda injector sound", or do I have worn rocker arms or loose valves?
The guy I bought the car from told me that the rings were damaged on cyl #2 and 4, he had a leak-down test on it he said. I've run a compression test on it, and got a flat 230 psi on all 4. Is that ok numbers, and do you think i need to run a leak down test when i've got the same comp on all 4?
Thanks for answers guys!

well a leak down test is not gonna help very much, u usually do that after it gets ,low numbers, your numbers are fine. well if its a tick that is constant and doesnt get louder as u rev it, its the injectors
