i was following you wring diagram on http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/G...1/cluster.html , but i wanted to know what that diagram is for 88-89 or 90-91??

cause the 90-91 civic's and crx's have 3 plugs for the cluster not two.

The reason i think that the diagram is for 88-89 is because when i look at my wires on my USDM harness there diffrent them the wires listed on the diagram..


Please help me. I really want to put this cluster in my car but i dont think this is the right diagram....

Yippie... After me and my two buddys sat in my car for hours on end... We finally figured it out.... So, now "I" know how to wire an SiR cluster into a 90-91 civic

 

true that diagram was for his 90-91 hf. so how do you wire it up in a 89 civic?? you gotta tell me. i just picked up a cluster 3 days ago and i was planning on asking this question too. what are the differences? o please tell me. btw, which model is yours? i dont think it matters though.

I have a 89 DX but i have all 91 DX wiring in my car.

The wiring on that website is for 88-89 civic's cause it wasen't even close to the 90-91 civic wiring.

yo, check out b16a.honda-perf.org..click on the b16 section, then the how to wire cluster section. they give you wiring for 90-91 and the hf wiring as well. if you can't find what your looking for, post up and we will help.

on the 90-91 civic what is the third plug on the cluster for? Its got two wires and it plugs into the white plastic box on the back......????????????

 

i believe it's a "speed sensor amplifier" when i put a 90-91 cluster in my 89, i had to repin, and i just took that little white box off and chucked it. i think you only need it on 90-91 clusters..
