Will a custom plexiglass EGR blockoff plate work or will it melt? Or do you have to use some kind of metal instead?

If you dont want to make one yourself, just buy one off of KMS. They are about $25.

I agree with hu. My plate from KMS was $27 shipped to Jersey.

 

EGR is an exhaust gas recirculation valve...It's worthless

 

just put a metal sheet betwin the egr and the im, prolly aluminum

Especially since you can't see it if you put the vavle back over it

 

KMS ftw. I just put mine on the other day

 

So aside from slowing down carbon build up, do these do anything? I mean, the EGR valve only operates at cruising speeds
