Well as you guys probably can guess, my EK isnt very daily driven unless needed. So we're in the process of building a street car to have fun with.... setup consists of

1995 black gsr (a/c /cruise control/power steering/leather... basically fully loaded)
setup consists of:

81.5mm stock sleeves
jg block guard ( was already installed when i bought he car)
scat rods
wiseco 9:1 pistons
new water/oil pumps timing belt etc..
cometic
arp head studs
skunk2 springs/retainers
skunk 2 stage 3 cams ( maybe not undecided)
competition clutch stage 4
custom TD autowerkes a/c and p/s compatible ramhorn
ballbearing sc6176e
3 inch downpipe
precision 750 hp i/c
550 cc injectors
walbro 255
car will be tuned on crome pro.

fyi...my 440cc DSM injectors maxed out at 311whp.

I found precision 1000cc for pretty cheap.....

motor will be going in tomorrow.......

and car should be on boost by the end of next week!

manifold will be fabbed up this week.....

pics will be in asap..... car should be done and on boost by this friday.,..... i can foresee some looong nighs here at the shop!

 

I'd ditch the intake manifold for a Victor X, get some ITR cams, bigger injectors (as stated, but not too big to suffer with gas milage) and you should have no issues with 400whp on pump.

 

motor is going in as i type..... should be done by friday!

 

as expected its 1 week before the NHRA moroso event and everyone wants their car done.so the integra wont be ready on time for moroso..... unless we stay till 3 am every day thi sweek,,,,, more updates to come....

 

Damian knows that a victor x and type r cams will make more power they're prob just throwing stuff together that they have so its not a million $ build...good luck mang! Btw, i got a local cnc to cut all my flanges, they're sick!!!

 

saw the car the other day when i stopped by the shop. looks great! these guys do some awesome work!

 

im throwing together a beater for myself as well except mine is going to be pretty much 100% used parts. want to make about 400 on pump gas too, but im using 1000's.

trying to find some used valve springs so i can atleast rev it.


good luck on the beater. you know your goal of 400 will go to 500 then 600 then...... haha

Who will be doing the tunning for you? Does your shop have a tuner? What is there background?
