I have a 1997 Honda civic EX coupe, and want to get an after market steering wheel in the soon future. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions of steering wheels that have worked for them, or companies that make them that have good reputations. It's preferable that the horn can be wired into the after market steering wheel, but if not, I can just rewire it into a Radio Shack switch.
Problem is I need to know how to do this (web tutorial or directions for a civic or same year civic would be great). Already utilized the search function on here, haven't found what I needed to know.

s2000 or Civic type-r wheels look dope.
For about the same price as a good aftermarket, hub and release.

Thanks, I'll look 'em up.. Anybody hear good things about Momo or any other companies?
Any name brand arfermarket steering wheel is fine, NRG, nardi, momo, etc.
When you can, look in the sponsor marketplace.

That's the website I used to get the horn to work after I installed my Tekniq wheel in my EH2. THIS thread may also be helpful.
I'm a sucker for Tekniq wheels - great product, I have used them twice in the past and will use them again soon. They have a quick release that I used also. Check them out:

The "race" version quick release doesn't have a locking mechanism - I went with the street version. This way, If I ever decide to leave my wheel on (car show, or some other reason), no ******** can just pull the wheel off without the key.
