Default "H" center cap research

Ok So I recently bought LS Meshes as winter wheels for $175 and traded my friend, dyingwish, for his Fat 5s.

From this

To this

I compared the LS Mesh "A" logo center cap and they are shorter than the fat 5 "acura" logo center caps.

So If you put an "acura" center cap into an LS mesh it will stick out about a 1/8".

I have been researching "H" centercaps for my Fat 5s. and i refuse to pay the ridiculous prices of 20-25 dollars per center cap for the 99-00 SI caps.

I have found some interesting and affordable solutions.

This I believe will fit a LS Mesh perfectly. I will check with my friend and test it on his car later today.

Here it is on my spare fat 5.

And how much does this center cap cost? why only $8 at the honda dealership. Now that is much better than $20-25

As you can see it is not flush. You could try to push it out a bit to be flush but i would not recommend it. as the plastic clips would not be seated on the ridge that holds it in place.

here is a comparison with a true "acura" fat 5 center cap

Here are some other OEM honda wheels that are optional. I need to track down these center caps and compare the height.

Oh here is the center cap for the Fit HFP wheels

I just took the center caps out of some '04 Si wheels, broke the clips off, and silicone glued them to my aftermarket wheels.

seems like a lot of work for those wheels. i would just sand down the caps on there right now and leave it without any label.
