Default Fried a power wire, can I tap into a near by wire?

I was installing a new HU, and accidently touched the constant power wire to a piece of metal, it made a small spark, and now I don't get any power out of that wire. I checked all my fuses and none of them are burned. Is there a constant power wire I can tap into to power my HU?

This is on a 94 Civic Hatch.

you popped a fuse man
if you HAVE TO the best way is to just run a new wire from the battery. make SURE you put a fuse in it. i had to run a power wire (still have no idea whats wrong, also my clock is jacked)

I checked all my fuses, and they are fine. Is there any other wire I can tap into?

well, I don't think you check ALL the fuses. One is blown somewhere.

check the fuses under the hood

you probably blew the backup fuse that is under the hood on the passenger side strut tower..

I did this, clock has power while car is on but doesn't retain time settings. Check under the hood, by the battery. It's a maroon fuse, says "7.5" on it. Change that **** and you're good to go!

the constant for the clock and the radio are the same wire... just run a new wire with a fuse and split it...

i just had to do the same thing last month

Why would you do that? Just replace the red 7.5a under the hood.

well, troubleshooting without a meter is definitely not a good idea.(of corse I know this by your posts. With a meter you can check if you have power to thay wire or not, if the wire may still be shorted, if you have 12v switched, etc. I would recommend picking one of these up. And if you just WONT run a new wire from your battery(fused), then tap into your main ignition at the column.(fuse it) Just like an alarm.
