Default Ever heard of this problem??

I finally got my car running again. The ECU pins for B or C plug got seperated when I was testing my harness connections so had to fix them. Yeah all of them. The only thing now (of course another problem) the car runs, idles fine but the check engine lit comes on stays on and after a few seconds the RPM's drop the check engine light goes off, makes a clicking sound then its back to the way it was orginally like the ECU is resetting itself? If you know what may cause this or how to fix it let me know.
TIA
Randy

When I turn the ignition on and don't start it. The ECU light stays on. When I start and let car run it only flashes 6 times but that stops because it seems like its reseting itself because the check engine light goes off for a few seconds. Then the check engine light comes back on and starts flashing again. Kinda crazy if you ask me. When I turn the car off and turn the ignition back on the ECU still stays on.

this is a long shot, but check your under hood fuses. My car was doing some weird **** kinda like this and then i checked the fuse box under the hood. The hazzard fuse was blown.

Problem solved. Got all codes gone. The problem was my alternator it was only working about 10 seconds and then it would quit working.
thanks for the help,
Randy
