2006 Civic Sub and Amp install
What is the make and model of the amp?
Does it have speaker level inputs?
If not you will need a "LOC", [line output converter]... http://www.scosche.com/scosche...LOC80 something like that, it will be connected to the front or rear speaker outputs of the stock HU, giving you a set of RCA outputs, you can use HU acc. for amp control/trigger, amp power from batt. and ground amp to chassis/floor pan as close to amp as you can..

I don't know if this will work for an 06. I'll try to find more. This is for wiring an LOC to the factory deck.
Here's another:

thanks for the help, Yes, i believe i need the LOC thing. Because as far as im aware of, the OEM decks dont have outputs for RCA. I know how to do everything but install that LOC. Any help would be great thanks. Also on how to remove the deck.
The LOC will come with instructions. There are four wires from the LOC that you need to splice. One for each rf, lf, rr, lr speakers. The diagram for doing this is in my post above.
