for any reason(i think) that the ecu send out a CEL....the motor is most likely to bog......also ur rev limiter might be set lower like around 7000rpm.....

get it fixed then try runni again it should run good

do a compression test, report back the #'s. and are you sure the oil is coming out of the header or just dripping onto it from the block?

valve cover gasket could be bad too

the said "bogging" could be bad timing maybe ?

i'm going to agree with the oil filter person. you should deffintley not hve oil in your header. air only. try screwing your filter on and then run it and check again. is their oil inside of you header. my motor burns oil like crazy and thats why i;m selling it and buying another. i have bad rings.

ok whe say oil i meant that the oil is on my header. where the 4 goes to 1. thats right in the front. and the flange is out to far for aything to drip on it.

Oil has to be dripping or draining onto it some how. have you checked the valve cover gasket? Clean off the header really well then drive it a little so you can see where the oil is getting onto it.

How about pulling your spark plugs off and check them too. Let me know what you find.
