Default Sound Like a good LSVTEC Build?

Im on a Budget , So im trying to do this the cheapest way possible , as im not doing the work.

b18c5 Head
Golden Eagle LS/VTEC Kit
ARP rodbolts
ARP Head Studs
B&M fuel Pressure Regulator

nice response, but not true.

zealautowerks.com says its 9.97:1 and c-speedracing.com/howto says 9.55:1...

You're build sounds pretty solid, however I wouldn't use the headgasket that comes with the GE kit. I did, and mine leaked oil all the down the front of my block. I then was forced to use a FelPro LS headgasket... but I'm switching it out for a Cometic LSV. headgasket in the near future.

i wouldnt use the ge kit, go endyn (theoldone.com) it wont break on you

When making accusations like this, it would be great if you'd give a little more info... yea. that'd be awesome.

I have the GE kit, got about I estimate 8k miles onit without a single problem.

If you are building on a budget, why by a B18C5 head, get a B16A head...and drop some R cams or blox A's...

what kind of power would you expect to get from a stock bottom end with a b16a head and blox cams,dc 4-1,2.5" exhaustand sri?
