Default PCV box

I have a hole in a pcv box in a d16z6, the hole is from a screw driver going to far into the filter when it was stuck on. So it went through the filter and put a hole in the pcv box.

My questions:

Can I just take the pcv box out and jb weld the hole shut? or do you think something is damaged inside the pcv box?

How would a hole in the PCV box affect how the engine runs?

Thanks

yes a hole on there can effect the way the engine runs. you can just pick one up from a salvage yard or even ebay, but if this is an emergency, make sure you wait for the curing time on the jb weld.
