well i haven't tried the teins so i don't know what to say there. I was thinking about getting the tein RS for my R before, but that was going to be a lot of money. So i got a used set of Apex for 725. i thought it was a good deal so i tried it out. My opinion of the Apex are that it's ok, kinda soft but better than stock. But it all depends on what you are doing with your R. If you track or auto X of course you want a stiffer suspension. But the Apex is ok for now till i decide what to do because it's not to stiff. But most likely i'll go with the Teins later. IMO

I have the APEXi and find them more than adequate for my ability at the moment.
It seems that a lot of you criticize the N1's for the soft rates. Is it possible to source a new set of springs for them? I would assume the spring diameter and length would need to be approximately the same. Any problems with doing this other than availability?

You can look into the eibach ERS.
