Opinions on this manifold
The runners arent equal length (unless thats wasnt a concern)
There is big time undercutting in the welds
The inside of the collector needs work
And the cuts/joints where the runners meet the collector are not lined up extremely well
it could be worse, its not that fence railing manifold on that toyota

I didn't make it, so you don't have to worry about hurting my feelings. I'm just looking for some unbaised opinions on the quality of the piece. Don't want anyone to have to take my word for it.
Tyler I'm having a hard time seeing why you posted this. You know this is one of the first manifolds he made and its not representative of his current work. If you want to be a **** bag why involve him? Why not show some of your own work? Oh yeah, you can't weld.
I certainly hope Corey doesn't condone this type if ****. That would be sad. I though he was a better person......

I dont think that is CC-Fab manifold

The point wasn't to analyze his work, it was to analyze that particular manifold which a group of less than brilliant people thought was impressive. Simply to show them how little they knew. That's why his name wasn't mentioned.
But out of fairness, since someone that was totally uninvolved and had no clue as to the situation did mention the name....
Probably the best he's ever done, definately far better than par. Hand picked, as you might say, to avoid any bitching.

The pic is blurry, but I don't see any part of it being concave. How do you figure it needs another filler pass? The welds are at the very least flat. Now as to how it looks like on the inside, I have no idea.

When somebody refers to a weld joint as a fusion root pass, I usually think of it as fused weldments with no filler (am I wrong?). The welds in the picture above, from what I can tell, have filler in them. I won't comment on the convexity (or concavity), because the picture is probably not clear enough, and you probably have seen more work by this said person.
The quality of the welds on the manifold in the top picture does indeed look very undercut and contaminated, and the fitment isn't great. It's pretty obvious from the not-so-up-close pictures.
